Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2025-09-11T08:53Z ( STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
SOHO: LASCO/C2
GOES: CCOR-1
Activity ID: 2025-09-11T08:53:00-CME-001 (version 6)
Source Location: S40E05
Note Keyword:
DFL: Likely deflection of the event within the FOV
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
HAL: Halo CME
OVR: Event partially overlaps with another CME
Source Signature Keyword:
FIL: Filament eruption
DIM: Dimming
Morphology Keyword:
F: Flux Rope
Note: Narrow CME seen to the SE in STEREO A COR2 closely following the fainter CME: 2025-09-11T07:53Z. It is seen as a faint, asymmetrical and messy partial halo to the SSE in SOHO LASCO C2. The source is likely the complex eruption of a southern filament mostly seen in SDO AIA 193 as a faint dimming and ejecta and lasting/developing for hours. The filament seems to be centered very approximately around S40E05 but the filament stretches (mostly along latitude) at least from S40E45 to S30W05. There is also a more western, fainter, feature of this CME seen to the W in SOHO LASCO C2 but it is hard to fit in the analysis. There are also potential one or two follow-up fronts in coronagraphs following this CME.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
